if you reflect upon your mistake, It makes you feel better and much more satisfied.
It also makes you better person and you will be much more open to improvement . You will also start taking everything seriously making you more focused.
If you become hostile towards your mistake, you tend to disrespect your parents. You will become more stubborn. You also find it hard to accept your mistakes.
