ans -  When iron nail is kept in copper sulphate solution, iron displaces copper to form ferrous sulphate's aqueous solution(green) and copper(brown flakes) precipitates out. Iron will displace copper from copper sulphate and will form iron sulphate. where copper sulphate is green in colour and after reaction the compound FeSo4 will be brown in colour.
