Intermolecular Forces of Attraction are forces of attraction between unlike charges, partially positive and negative dipoles, that occur between two molecules...

In solids, the highest

In liquids, it's less than solid but greater than gas

In gases,it's the least...

Hope this helped...

Intermolecular force of attraction is the force which binds the molecules of a substance together. It is said that all molecules exert this force in order to stick to other molecules. In solids they are packed very tightly. In liquid they are less tightly packed. In gases they are packed very loosely. There are two types of inter molecular forces.Cohesive and Adhesive.
