\underline{\:  \large{\textit{1) \sf Answer \: :}}}

:\implies It is as follows:

  • A fuse is a device which is used to break the circuit whenever there is short circuit.

  • Above statement states us that, 5A current is the most maximum current that can pass through the fuse.

  • i.e, 5A is the most maximum point at which current can pass through the circuit. If more current than 5A passes through the circuit, fuse will melt & will break the circuit.

\underline{\:  \large{\textit{2) \sf Answer \: :}}}

\longrightarrow It is as follows:

  • Magnetic Field Lines represent curves originating from North Pole of magnet to South Pole of magnet.

  • There is absence of such a magnetic monopole in the magnetic field. If they go straight, all field lines that enter through surface in volume exits through the surface.

  • Hence, Magnetic field lines are always present in closed curves.

\underline{\:  \large{\textit{3) \sf Answer \: :}}}

\leadsto It is as follows:

  • The rate at which work is being done in a electrical circuit is termed as an Electric Power.

  • Electric Power is generated from huge Electric Generators which can be also be supplied to batteries.

  • S.I unit of Electric Power is Watt.

4. What is meant by the statement that the rating of a fuse in a circuit is 5A? (1)

 \large \rm \color{lime} { ANSWER }

⇨ This statement means that, 5A current is maximum current that passes through the fuse. If the more current will pass, the fuse will melt it means circuit would break and saving appliances.

5. Magnetic field lines are closed curves. Why? (1)

 \large \rm \color{purple} { ANSWER }

⇨Magnetic field lines are closed curves because there is no such thing as a magnetic monopole.They form continuous curves because field lines begin from north and end in south side. hence they form closed curves.

6. Define electric power

 \large \rm \green { ANSWER }

Electric power is the rate of energy consumption in an electrical circuit.

The electric power is measured in units of watts

The electric power P is equal to the energy consumption E divided by the consumption time t:

p =  \frac{e}{t}

P is the electric power in watt (W).

E is the energy consumption in joule (J).

t is the time in seconds (s).
