The reciprocal of that particular negative rational number is the multiplicaticative inverse. For eg -9/5 is the multiplicative inverse of -5/9.

Hope it helps!!! :)

The multiplicative inverse is nothing but the reciprocal of the number given but the sign does not change

for example : the multiplicative inverse of -2/7 is -7/2
