The formula is: Speed = Distance/Time

Given: Distance = 15 km = 15 X 10^3 m (Converting into S.I unit)

and Time = 20 minutes = 20 X 60 seconds = 1200 seconds (Converting into S.I unit)

Hence, Speed = 15 X 10^3 / 1200 (m/s)

or Speed = 12.5 m/s

Converting it into km/hr

Speed = 12.5 m/s = 45 km/hr

(Since, 1 m = 10^-3 km & 1 s = 1/3600 hr)
