FINAL ANSWER:-

C) x² - 6x + 3 = 0

GIVEN:-

the standard form of quadratic equation x = x (x – 5) +3

FORMULA USED:-

basic bracket multiplication

SOLUTION:-

STEP1 : simplify the equation x=x (x – 5) +3

x=x (x-5) +3\\x=x^{2}-5x+3\\

=x^{2}-5x -x+3    [bringing x from L.H.S. to R.H.S.]

=x^{2}-6x+3

as we know that standard quadratic equation is ax^{2}+bx+c

so we have arranged the equation in the form of ax^{2}+bx+c

hence x^{2}-6x+3 is the standard quadratic equation
