1.The androecium of pea flower is diadelphous because the filaments of anther are united in two bundles. In case of pea, out of ten, nine stamens form a staminal tube while one is free.

2.Ray florets are called neuters because they are sterile and do not produce seeds like disc florets .

3.The sepal which is the part of the calyx of Salvia flower are described as petaloids because they have coloured sepals which resembles petals, which are a modified leaves often bright in colour to attract pollinators.
