Battle of buxar was at a small town named Buxar in the territory of Bihar . This battle was fought between English forces and with the combined army of Mir Kasim, nawab of bengal , Nawab of Oudh Shah Alam II and Mughal emperor in the year 1764 .

The British east india company won the battle of buxar .
