4. At noon we know that the sun is overhead and when the sun is overhead , it has less air to travel through. ... So, scattering is reduced if the distance to be travelled in air is reduced. Therefore, the least amount of scattering occurs which results in the appearance of white light.

6. Answer. when object is placed between focus and curvature of center in front of concave mirror, then the image formed by the mirror is real, inverted and larger than the object.

In the noon because the Sunis overhead, there is least amount of scattering and hence appears white. When it is overhead, it has lesser air to travel through and scattering results from dust and other particles which will be reduced if the distance to be travelled in air is reduced.
