Answer:

See it's very simple when we multiply (-) with (-) we get a positive answer

example- (-5)*(-6) = +30

and when we multiply (-) with (+) we get a negative answer

ex- (-5)*(6) = -30

now as per your question

(-9)* (-5) * (-6) = (- 9 * - 5) * (-6) = +45 * (-6) = -270

and

(-9)* (-5) (-6) * (-1) = (-9) * (-11) * (-1) = (-9) * ( -11 * -1) = (-9) * (11) = -99

see the answer is still negative because you have not put multiplication sign in your question between -5 and -6 could be by mistake .

But if you try by applying multiplication sign we get a positive answer.

Answer:

5 a) negative

b) positive

c) negative

Step-by-step explanation:

4. it's because when two negative integers are multiplied then the product will be positive or can say when the no of negative integers multiplied together is even then the product will be positive one.

in (-9)*(-5)(-6) , there are three negative integers so the product will be negative one.(odd no)

whereas in (-9)*(-5)(-6)(-1) there are four negative integers (in even) which will give a positive product.

5.same explainatoin as of ques no.4

6. option b
