Dear Vignesh
I trust this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I hope your classes have started in full swing and you are finding your hostel life comfortable.
As mentioned in your last letter, I suppose you must be having a lot to study, to face the exams that are coming up.
However, I just wanted to remind you, not to ignore your health. Please do involve yourself in games or any active sport. Remember that a healthy mind, needs a healthy body. Maintain a schedule in which you devote time to physical activity. Eat sensibly and keep off excessive junk foods too.
How are your friends Vishal and Arjun doing?
You take care and write when you get time. Father and mother send their regards to you.
Bye.
Your affectionately

Dear Brother,
You have never been in a hostel before. I spent long 3 years in hostel. I have many practical experiences about hostel life. I therefore give you some advice.
There you would find many new friends and truly, there would not be anyone who would say you about 'do' and 'don'ts'. Super-intendent would only tell you about rules of the hostel but what you have to done is to focus on your studies. With friends you would like to play, gossip and enjoy together, but never forget you went so far from home just because of studies, so don't neglect it. First work for you is to make a daily planner chart, and strictly follow it. There would be a particular time for playing and exact time for studies. It would make you productive. You will find there are lots of time to make its best use of.
If you can adjust yourself with hostel life, you will become a new man completely self-reliant.
With love,
Sista
