He shouted at the top of his voice"There's a tiger, tiger, there's a tiger. The villagers rushed into the jungle with spears and sticks. When they came into the jungle they could not see the tiger anywhere. One of the villagers asked Bunya where the tiger was. Bunya just stood there laughing at the villagers. In anger the villagers went back to their work. Bunya repeated the same trick the next day. The villagers got angry again and went back. Then the next day when Bunya went into the forest, he encountered a real tiger. In fear he ran as fast as he could and climbed up a tree. Then he started shouting at the top of his voice,"Tiger, tiger someone help me, please, there's a tiger here. The villagers thought it was one of Bunya's jokes and didn't pay attention. Poor Bunya was stuck on the tree till the next morning, when a villager came into the forest and saw Bunya on the tree, sleeping. From that day onwards Bunya promised never to play his silly jokes anymore.
