1. Chemical energy of the cells to electrical energy. Chemical energy is the energy stored in the chemicals which in this case is the cells. Electrical energy is the energy carried by electrons in the wire.

2. When we switch on the torch chemical energy is converted to electrical energy and transferred using wires to the bulb which produces light.

3. Electrical energy is converted to light energy when the bulb glows. Light energy is the energy carried by photons which are emmited by the bulb.

4. When this light falls on an object we see things are it reaches our eyes from that object. So when photons hit our eyes the light energy is converted to neural signals which are electrical impulses again that are sent to the brain and help us see.
