Question: Solve 4(x−0.8)=3.8x−5.8.

Solution: In oredr to find the value of x from 4(x−0.8)=3.8x−5.8 we've to simplify it.

or, 4x - 3.2 = 3.8x - 5.8

or, 4x - 3.8x = 3.2 - 5.8

or, 0.4x = -2.6

or, x = -6.5 [Ans]

Therefore, on simplifying the above expression we get the value of x as negative of 6.5 i.e. -6.5.
