Answer:

4x+12-2x+2=3x+3

4x-2x+12+2=3x+3

2x+14=3x+3

2x-3x=3-14

-1x=-11

x=11/1

x=11

Answer:

4 (x + 3) - 2 (x - 1) = 3x + 3

4x + 12 - 2x - 2 = 3x + 3

4x - 2x + 12 - 2 = 3x + 3

2x + 10 = 3x + 3

2x - 3x = 3 - 10

- x = - 7

x = 7.

Verification -:

4 (7 + 3) - 2 (7 - 1) = 3 × 7 + 3

28 + 12 - 14 - 2 = 21 + 3

40 - 14 - 2 = 21 + 3

26 - 2 = 21 + 3

24 = 24.

Since x = 7 satisfies the equation,

Hence verified.

Hope it helps! I verified the answer just in case it was wrong! :)
