4x + 3y - 4 = 0
4x +3y = 4 .

6x = 8 - 5y .
6x + 5y = 8

Multiplying first equation by 3 , second equation by 2 .

12x + 9y = 12
12x + 10y = 16
=============
-y = -4
y = 4 .

Now Substitute y value to get x .

4x + 3(4) - 4 = 0
4x + 8 = 0
4x = -8
x = -2 .

The value of x, y = (-2,4)

Heya !!

Here is your answer !!

____________________________

4x + 3y = 4 (1)
6x = 8 - 5y = 6x + 5y = 8 (2)

Multiply (1) by 5 and (2) by 3

20x + 15y = 20. (3)
18x + 15y = 24 (4)

Subtracting (3) and (4)

2x = -4
x = -2

Substituting the value of x in (1)

4 (-2) + 3y = 4
-8 +3y = 4
3y = 12
y = 4

Hence the value of x is -2 and that of y = 4
