4x+6y=15....(1)
3x-4y=7....(2)
add eq (1) and (2)
we get, 7x+2y=22...(3)
multiply eq(3) by 2
we get , 14x+4y=44...(4)
add eq(2) and (4)
we get, 17x =51.
x=51/17
x=3
substituting x=3 in eq(1)
4(3)+6y=15
12+6y=15
6y=15-12
6y=3
y=3/6
y=1/2
(x,y)=(3,1/2)
