Ganesh = x + 4

Adithya = 2x + 4

Express their age 4 years later:

Ganesh = x + 4 + 4 = x + 8

Adithya = 2x + 4 + 4 = 2x + 8

Solve x:

Adithya's age will be 4/3 times the age of Ganesh.

2x + 8 = 4/3 (x + 8)

2x + 8 = 4/3 x + 32/3

6x + 24 = 4x + 32

2x = 8

x = 4

Find Adithya's age:

Adithya =  2x + 8 = 2(4) + 8 = 16 years old

According to the given question -

Cross multiplication

6x + 24 = 4x + 32

6x - 4x = 32 - 24

2x = 8

x = 4.

Finding Adithya present age -
