4 years ago the age of Gopal was thrice the age of Ram after 4 years the age of Gopal would be doubled the age of the RAM find their present age.​

Let the age of gopal be x

Let the age of Ram be y

Now,

x-4=3(y-4)

=>x-3y= -15......(1)

Also,

X+4= 2(y+4)

=>x-2y= 4 ......(2)

from (1)&(2)

x -3y= -15

x -2y= 4

-1y= -11

y=11

Sub y= 11 in (2)

x-2(11) =4

X-22=4

X=4+22

x=26

Therefore present age of gopal is 26 and present age of ram is 11
