Answer:

solved

Step-by-step explanation:

let the age of A be '2x'

And let the age of B be '3x'

After 4 years = A age = 2x+4

; B age = 3x+4

A/q

2x+4/3x+4 = 5/7

2x+4 × 7 = 3x +4 × 5

2x+28 = 3x +20

3x-2x = 28 - 20

x = 8yrs

Therefore; present age of A = ( 2 × 8 + 4 ) yrs

= ( 16 + 4 ) yrs

= 20yrs

so, present age of B = ( 3 × 8 + 4 ) yrs

= ( 24 + 4 ) yrs

= 28 years
