40÷3q=15

40/3q=15

40=3q×15

40=45q

40/45=q

8/9=q

Therefore;

-q=-8/9

Cancelling subtraction sign on both sides;

q=8/9

Hi there !!

 \frac{40}{3q}  = 15 \\  \\ 40 = 45q \\  \\ q =  \frac{</em></strong><strong><em>4</em></strong><strong><em>0</em></strong><strong><em>}{</em></strong><strong><em>4</em></strong><strong><em>5</em></strong><strong><em>}  \\  \\  =  {</em></strong><strong><em>8</em></strong><strong><em>}</em></strong><strong><em>÷</em></strong><strong><em>{</em></strong><strong><em>9</em></strong><strong><em>}

Thank you :)
