40. ABCD is a trapezium in which ARICD and CD-40cm and AB - 60cm. If X and Y
are, respectively, the mid-points of AD and BC, prove that
(1) XY = 50cm
(2) Area (trap. DCYX) =9/11 Area (trap. XYBA)
