Weight of solute = 40 g
Weight of solvent = 200 g
Therefore, the weight of the solution will be (200+40) = 240 g.
The solubility of solute = ( Weight of solute/Weight of solution) * 100
= (40/240) * 100
= 16.66 g.
Hence, the solubility of solute at 27 degree Celsius is 16.66 g.
