We know area of triangle is

1/2 × base × height

Area of ABCD = Area ∆ ADC + Area ∆ ABC

= 1/2 × 40 × 75 + 1/2 × 50 × 75

= 75/2 ( 40 + 50) m²

= (75/2) × 90 m²

= (75 × 45) m²

= 3375 m²
