Find the percentage of members that like at least one of the fruits:

60 + 40 - 15% = 85%

Find the percentage of members that does not like any of the fruits:

100 - 85 = 15%

Find the total number of members:

15% = 6 members

1% = 6 ÷ 15 = 0.4 members

100% = 0.4 x 100 = 40 members.

Answer: There are 40 members in the family.

 \bold {\huge {Solutions:-}}

We have,

Members like mango = 40%
Members like orange = 60%

Members like both = 15%

Now,
Members like only one fruit = (40+60-15)% = 85%

Members like nothing = (100-85)% = 15%

We know 6 members don't like any of these.

 \bold {\underline {By~equation}}

15% of x = 6
=> 0.15x = 6
=> x = 6/0.15 = 40

Hence,

Members are there in family
