\huge\mathtt{\blue{ANSWER}}

56.66days

\huge\mathbb{\underline{SOLUTION:-}}

First find the total work

Total work =40men×40days

=> 1600unit

The total work =1600unit

.But end of every 10th day 5 men left the job

Then:-

\sf\underline{\red{According\:to\:question:-}}

35 men work in 10 day =35×10

=> 350unit

and 5 men also left in 10 day

work of 30 men =300unit

Same here 5 also left after 10 days

work of 25men =250unit

5 men left after 10 days

work of 20 men =200unit

Now:-

Number of men left =20-5

=>15men

The number of men left =15

Number of work left of 15 men is 1500

=> 1600-1500

Work left =100

\sf\implies 100

\sf They\:will\: complete\:100\:men\:work\:in=\frac{work\: left}{men\:left}\\ \\ \sf\leadsto They \:will\: complete\:100\:men\:work\:in=\frac{\cancel{100}}{\cancel{15}}\\ \\ \sf\leadsto They\: complete\:100\:men \:work \:in=\frac{20}{3}days\\ \\ \sf \implies or\: 6.66\:days

Now the total days

=10×5

= >50+6.66

\sf\implies total days =56.66days
