Given that :-

  • 40% of 50 students of a class are good at Science.

To find :-

  • How many students are not good at Science ?

Let us assume :-

  • Good at Science students are x.
  • Not good at Science students are y.

Finding the Numer of x.

 \dashrightarrow x = 40/100×50

 \dashrightarrow x = 2000/100

 \dashrightarrow x = 20.

Hence,

  • The total number of Good at Science students are 20.

Finding the Number of y.

 \dashrightarrow y = 50-20

 \dashrightarrow y = 30.

Hence,

  • The total number of Not good at Science students are 30.
