when %s are given simply consider 100 things
let there are 100 people working in the company
no.of men =40 and no.of women=60
since 75%men earn more than 25000,no.of men earning above 25000 are( 75/100)*40=30men but 45%of company is earning more than 25000 therefore no.of people earning more than 25000 are 45 but out of them 30 are men therefore 15 are women total no of women =60
hence fraction of women earning below 25000 are (60-15)/60=45/60=3/4

Percentage of men in a company = 40%      ( given)

75% of men employee earn more than Rs.25000.       ( given)

45%of company's employees earn more than Rs 25000 per year.        ( given)

Let consider total number of employees = 100

According question 40% are men,

 ∴ men = 40

rest are women employee.

hence number of women employee = ( 100 - 40) = 60

As 75% of men earn more than 25000.

∴Total number of men ,who earn more than 25000 = 75% of 40

                                                                                     = \frac{75}{100} × 40

                                                                                      =75 / 5 ×2

                                                                                       = 15 ×2= 30

∴ 30 men earn more than Rs.25000.

Now according the question,  45% of company's employees earn more than Rs 25000 per year,

That means 45 employees earn more than Rs.25000

Hence total female employees, who earn more than Rs.25000:-

= (45-30) = 15

∴ Number of female employees who earn less than Rs.25000 = ( 60 - 15) = 45

Hence fraction of the women employed by the company earn Rs 25000 per year or less =( 45 ÷ 60)

                            = \frac{3}{4}

Ans :-  Fraction of the women employed by the company earn Rs 25000 per year or less will be  \frac{3}{4}.
