Total population of a town is 112000

step by step explanation

let the total population Be 100%

then

100% - (35%+40%) = 25% are children

25% of 100% = 2800

X = 28000×100/ 25 = 112000

so you can see total population is 1 12000

Men Population= 40% of 112000

40\100×112000= 44800

total population of man is 44800

Women Population 35% of 112000

35/100×112000= 39200
