Heya...
Here is your answer ----

=> Total Population = 100%

=> Population of men = 40%

=> Population of women = 35%

=> Population of children = Total Population - (population of men + population of women)

=> Population of children = 100 - (40 + 35)

=> Population of children = 100 - 75

=> Population of children = 25%

Let the total population be x.

ATQ :---

=> 25/100x = 28000

=> 1/4x = 28000

=> x/4 = 28000

=> x = 28000 × 4

=> x = 1,12,000

The total population of the town is 1,12,000.

HOPE IT HELPS....!!!!

Heya,

Given:-

Men's population = 40%
Women's population = 35%
Total population = 100%
No.of children = 28000

To find:-
Total population of the town

Solution:-
Children's population = Total population - (Men's population + women's population)

Children's population = 100 - (40 + 35)

Children's population = 100 - 75

Children's population = 25%

Total population = y

25/100 × y = 28000

y = 28000 × 100/25

y = 28000 × 20/5

y = 28000 × 4

y = 112,000

Hope my answer helps you :)
