40% of the population of a town is men and 35% is women. If the number of children is 20,000, find the number of men.

=(100-75)%

=25%

Therefore,25% of x = 20000

=(25/100)×x=20000

=x=(20000×100)/25

=x=20000×4

=x=80000

Therefore, total population vis 80000.

No of men = 40% of 80000

= (40×80000)/100

=3200000/100

=32000
