40 persons had to complete a work in 62 days. After 50 days 10 more persons join then work was finished in time. If more persons were not appointed then how many days late work was completed?

look 40 people joined on the first day and after 50 days 10 people joined so 50 people were there on the 50th day and on the 62nd day the work was finished. the difference between 62-50 = 12 therefore if the 10 people were not appointed then it would take another twelve days = which is 62 + 12 = 74 days. so it would take 12 days.
