हमें ज्ञात करना है , 40 cm फोकस दूरी वाले उत्तल लेंस की क्षमता ।
हल : हम जानते हैं कि उत्तल लेंस की फोकस दूरी धनात्मक होती है ।
अतः, उत्तल लेंस की फोकस दूरी, f = + 40 cm = 40/100 m = 0.4 m
लेंस की क्षमता उसके फोकस दूरी का विलोम होता है।
अर्थात, लेंस की क्षमता = 1/फोकस दूरी( मी में)
= 1/0.4 = +2.5 D
