Cost of 500g of strawberries = £4.10

Cost of 300g of strawberries = ⅗ of £4.10

= ⅗ × £4.10

= £2.46

Now we can work out the cost of 400g of raspberries = £7.46 - £2.46 = £5.

So 200g of raspberries cost £2.50, that is half of £5.

Cost of 200g of strawberries = ⅔ of £2.46 or ⅖ of £4.10 = £1.64.

So total cost of 200 g of raspberries and 200 g of strawberries = £1.64 + £2.50 = £4.14.

Answer:

500g of strawbarries=£4.10

1g of strawbarries= £4.10÷500

=£0.0082

now 300g of strawbarries=£0.0082×300

=£2.46

cost of 400g raspberries= total cost-cost of 300g strawberries.

= £7.46-2.46

=£5

now

cost of 1g of raspberries= £5÷400

=£0.0125

cost of 200g of raspberries= 0.0125×200

= £2.5

now ,cost of 200g of strawberries = £0.0082×200

= £1.64
