HEY!!

______________________________

▶️▶️When a current of I amperes passes through a circuit of resistance R ohms for a time of t seconds then the heat produced is given by the relation:

➡️H=I2Rt

▶️The above relation is known as the Joule’s law of heating.

➡️Given,

➡️Heat developed, H = 400 J

➡️Time, t = 1 s

➡️Resistance, R = 16 Ω

➡️H = I2Rt

➡️H = (V/R)2Rt

➡️H = V2t/R

➡️V2 = HR/t

➡️V2 = (400)(16)/1

➡️V = 80 V

⏩This is the potential difference across the resistance.
