1 mango = Rs x 

THUS,

400 mangoes = Rs (1.25) * (400) = Rs 500 

NOW, SINCE 

Cost Price of 400 mangoes is Rs 500,

Cost Price = Rs 500 - Rs 100 = Rs 400,
