400 mL of oxygen at 27°C were cooled to -- 15°C without the change in pressure.Calculate the contraction in volume .

If pressure is constant then,

V1/T1= V2/T2

Convert celsius to farenheit.

27 C= 300K
And
15C= 288K

Now applying the above formula,

400/300 =V2/288

V2= 384ml

Contraction in volume= V1-V2
= 400-384
= 16ml
