Question Correction:

The breadth of a rectangular garden is 2/3 of it's length if it's perimeter is 40 meter. Find the dimensions of rectangular garden

Answer:

If length of the garden is x, then its breadth must be 2x/3

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) = 40 m

ATQ,

2(x+2x/3)=40

x+2x/3=20

(3x+2x)/3=20

5x/3=20

5x=60

x=12

Length = 12m

Breadth = 2x/3 = 2*12/3 = 24/3 = 8m
