My motherland is very vast covering a big area. It starts from big Himalayas in the northern side and ends in Kanya Kumari towards the southern end.
It starts from hills of Assam in the eastern side towards and ends towards the Bay of Kutch in the western side. My motherland is highly populated. Its population is in hundred cores. The major part of this population resides in the villages. The main source of income of these villages is through ‘Agriculture’.
India was under the control of British rule before 1947. Since independence India is making a remarkable progress in Medical Science, agriculture and Industry. Now it is a big independent glorious land. Mahatama Gandhi is called as the father of the nation. He played an important role in getting India free from British rule. India is known as the land of brave men, thinkers, holy men and writers.
Glorious names are attached with the country’s name like Mahavir & Buddha, Rana Pratap & Ashok, Mirabai & Mehta, Pandit Jawarahlal Nehru, Kalidas, Ravindra Nath Tagore, Sardar Patel, Subash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi.
My country is very rich in culture & tradition. It is known for its rich culture & traditions all around the world. Indian land is an ancient land. My motherland is proud of its ancient literature such as the Puranas, the Upanishads, the Vedas and the Bhagwat.
Due to its rich natural resources my country is also called as the ‘Golden Sparrow’. India is capable of producing spices, oil seeds, wheat, rice and cotton on its own. India is also blessed with natural beauty. It has vast system of canals and rivers. India has attractive mountain ranges, with beautiful flora & fauna, rich fields and deep forests.
The big Himalayas not only add beauty to the country but they are also the highest mountain peak in the world. ‘Ganga’ is known as the purest river of India. ‘Taj Mahal’ is the most beautiful monument of the country.
‘Rameshvaram Temple & Ajanta caves’ are famous all around the globe. I am very concerned about the Indian economy because India is considered as a poor country. Many people in India fail to get proper education. People are struggling for basic needs such as clothes, shelter and food. Hence it is the duty of every citizen to serve the country. I pray to God to help me to serve my country with utmost loyalty.
