The environment can be protected in the following ways stated below:-

• Planting more trees- Deforestation and cutting down of trees is increasing day by day. But the same amount of trees are not planted, thus it is leading to a reduction in the number of trees on the surface of the earth. Therefore, it is our responsibility to replenish the earth's surface with more greenery.
• Reduction in usage of Fossil fuels:- Fossil fuels are a scarce resource. Fossil fuels are found at the depths of the earth's saurface. Petroleum, gas, LPG are examples of some fossil fuels. We should shift to the usage of more renewable resources than depending on fossil fuels.
• Less consumption of animals:- Nowadays people are becoming vegetarians and vegans because eating animals is actually harmful to our bodies. Consumption of animals produced methane gas which is harmful to nature.
• Less consumption of freshwater resources:- We have limited water resources for consumption on the surface of the earth. we have to protect our freshwater resources so we must not waste them.
