So,
42 : 52 :: 72 : x
42 / 52 = 72 / x
7 / 52 = 12 / x
∴ x = 52 * 12 / 7
∴ x = 89.142857
So,
42 : 52 :: 72 : x
42 / 52 = 72 / x
7 / 52 = 12 / x
∴ x = 52 * 12 / 7
∴ x = 89.142857
make it simple 6*7 is 42 7*8 is 56 9*8 is 72 likewise 10*9 90
