Given:

A Table is given having one element x is missing:

   29   13  18

   33    x   19

   30   27  3

To Find:

Find the value of x.

Solution:

Find the pattern such that either all rows or all columns follow.

By observing the table we can comprehend that all the rows follow a pattern.

Row 1 -     29  +  13  + 18  =  60

Row 3 -    30  +  27   +  3     =  60

Similarly Row 2 will also follow the same pattern,

Row 2 -   33  +  x   +  19  =  60

                    x= 60-33-19

                      =8

Hence the value of x is 8.
