u = 10m/s

a=3m/s^2

t= 20sec

s= ut+1/2at^2

=10×20+1/2 ×3×20^2

=200+600

=800m

so, distance=800m

Given :   initial velocity of a body is 10m/s

uniform acceleration of 3m/s²

To Find : the distance covered by the body in 20s

Solution:

S = ut + (1/2) at²

S = distance covered

u = initial velocity = 10 m/s

a = acceleration = 3 m/s²

t =  time  = 20 sec

distance covered by the body in 20s  =   10 (20) + (1/2) * 3 * (20)²

= 200  + 600

= 800 m
