If we consider all ideal situations (the object is not compressible, no change in dimensions of the object due to any sort of temperature change etc.), the only way to reduce mass of an object will be reducing its quantity (breaking it , cutting it etc.) ... Vice versa, a change in volume will imply a change in mass.

As the volume of the material increases, the mass will also increase. The greater the volume of the object the greater the number of atoms present. This will result in the object having greater mass.
