The given data in the above question,

It is given data is 420 workers take 15 days to complete a

piece of work.

we have to find how many more  workers should be employed, if the  same work is to be completed in  12 days  and same work, if  300 workers were employed,

Thus, simplifying the above given equation we get,

Let worker required be x,

420\times 15=x\times 12\\6300=12x\\x=\frac{6300}{12}\\x=525

Therefore, the required worker is 525.

Then 300 worker employed to completed same work,

Let x be the days required,

420\times 15=x\times 300\\6300=300x\\x=\frac{6300}{300} \\x=21 days

Hence the required days to complete the same work with 300 worker is 21days.
