3x - 2(10+4x)/42 = 1

3x -10-4x /21 = 1

53-4x /21 = 1

53-4x = 21

-4x = 21-53

-4x = -32

x = 32/4=8

y = 10+4x / 42 = 10+ 4(8)/42= 10+32/42 = 42/42 = 1
