Hi there,

Here is your answer(Text mark in quotes "" are comments for better understanding if u know the thing written in comments then please ignore it )

____________________________________________________________

Let us consider number of students in a school be y

Given, 43% of the students in a school are girls

% of boys in school are=100%-43%=57%

⇒57÷100 × y=1482  ("amount of quantity=percentage of quantity÷100×total               ⇒y=1482×100÷57

y=2600

1.So, total strength of the school=2600

2.Number of boys=1482 {Given}

Number of girls in the school= total strength of the school - Number of boys

Number of girls in the school=2600-1482=1118
