Find the percentage of boys:

100 - 43 =57%

Find the total strength of the school:

57% = 1482

1% = 1482 ÷ 57 =26

100% = 26 x 100 = 2600

Answer: There are 2600 students in school.

given

43% are girls

100 % - 43 % = 57% (boys)

given boys are 1482 .

if 57 % = 1482 boys

then 43% = ? Girls.

= 43x1482 ÷ 57

= 63,726 / 57

= 1118 .

so , number of girls = 1118.

total strength = 1118 + 1482 = 2600.

hence total strength = 2600.
