Explanation:

Vp = 10 m/s

Vq = 15 m/s

Length of each car = 5m

The cars cross each other at time 5.

Just after crossing P covered (x + 5) m and Q covered (95-x) m

Vp = distance /  time =  x+5/t

Vq = 95-x / t

So x+5/10 = 95-x / 15

x = 35m

So the car would have covered 40 m.

Option 1 is the answer.
